  • Suffering from a spinal injury about 2 years ago, I had a L5 S1 microdisectomy and from there life was getting worse and worse. I had a lot of trauma from the surgery and pick up a lot of sciatic issues and was diagnosed with some neurological stuff such as Dysautonomia. Going from Neurologist to rheumatologist I was basically lost in the whole process. I flew home from the USA to Ireland and met Cormac and he certainly caught my curiosity and i said i'd give it a go and that's where everything changed for me. My Story


It all began with a dream — to become a professional soccer player.
From the moment I could kick a ball, that vision drove me. I was lucky enough to make it into the League of Ireland system, playing from academy level up with Cobh Ramblers and later with Kerry FC. Along the way I had the privilege of learning from top coaches and therapists such as Martin Brady, Michael O’Shea, and many others who shaped my approach to performance and recovery.

Like most athletes, my journey wasn’t without setbacks. I experienced major injuries — including a torn Achilles and torn MCL — that tested me physically and mentally. Rather than letting them hold me back, they sparked a deep interest in rehabilitation and human performance. I became obsessed with learning how the body heals, adapts, and grows stronger through the right training and mindset.

At the same time, I founded Mid Cork Coaching (MCC Development Academy Ltd.), where I’ve coached players from age 5 all the way to senior and League of Ireland level. I’ve also spent time working as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for Kerry FC’s First Team, combining real-world coaching with the science of athletic development.

After qualifying as a Personal Trainer straight out of school, I immersed myself in workshops and certifications to keep learning — everything from biomechanics and mobility to strength, posture correction, and recovery. Over time, I discovered I had a sharp eye for movement and posture. Within minutes of seeing someone stand or move, I could identify the root cause of their issue. That’s where my unique rehab-style PT approach began — using self-release techniques and corrective movement to realign the body, often with noticeable changes after just one session.

A big part of my “why” comes from family. My grandad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease over sixteen years ago, and watching his condition progress inspired me to dive deep into neurological rehabilitation. I started studying everything “neuro,” eventually finding the Neuromuscular Therapy course to help him personally to begin with. Through that journey, I met incredible practitioners who transformed his quality of life — something I’ll always be grateful for.

That experience opened the door to a new passion: helping others overcome pain, dysfunction, and limitation through hands-on work and education. I’ve since gone on to train in Reiki, osteopathic techniques, and advanced bodywork, working with clients dealing with MS, Parkinson’s, Frozen Shoulder, Osteitis Pubis, Carpal Tunnel, postural syndromes, tendonitis/tendinopathy, dysautonomia, and much more.

Today, I combine everything I’ve learned across soccer, therapy, and coaching through:

  • Mid Cork Coaching (MCC Development Academy) — developing youth players and high-performance camps around Ireland.
